*The usual comment you see on the forums is "triples are too complicated." Can't say I ever understood that.* ** I think some people find the centering/trimming activity betwen the small and middle rings troublesome. Most of these people are running indexed front brifters, which, in my one experience, sucked several levels of Big Time for triple-shifting. It's a shifter problem, not number of chainrings.
