So far, so good with the S3X. I have this hub on two different bikes, and both are working fine. The only issue so far is that the hubs don't like to shift under a load. If you're already grinding up a hill, it's too late to shift (unless you can somehow soft pedal for a moment). Other than that, all is well. They are definitely a conversation starter.
