Thanks for the complement, but the cut down and rubberized mod is not mine at all. That's the way they come when you buy these thumbshifters. My idea is just to repurpose the levers and the clamps on different bikes.
Now that you mention it, though, I have been doing a lot of sanding and polishing of aluminum bike parts lately, so I imagine I could make my own Silver barcons out of a set of downtube shifters, and then dip them in that blue rubber tool-handle goo.
