My understanding was it's a bit of bike-to-parts consolidation. I'm torn 
because the standover is good for me (I prefer more to less), but the tt 
length is a tossup. I've ridden 55/56 with sweptback bars, which worked; 
and 54/55 with drops that needed a shorter stem. Theoretically this would 
make a Moustache Bar setup (which stretches the cockpit a bit) work for me 
on this bike, which would create a Curt-built version of the original 
Bstone XO-1: 26-inch wheels, caliper brakes..a bike I adore. Then there's 
that pesky price thing...
