Great thread! I too, have a Homer and have been drooling over Hunqa's
for a while now. 90% of my riding is on the road, in fact last summer
was my first serious dalliance with single track. I bought a 90s
Rockhopper, rigid fork, and I really like that type of riding.
So...I've decided that the Hunq will be my next bike. I can't part
with my Homer. I do love the Rodeo too. My goal is to have one of
each, with Homer set up to tour/commute, Rodeo for the fast club rides
(although my fast today is much less so than it used to be) and the
Hunqa for everything else. I would definitely seek the Riv folks'
advice about your choice of ride. I was originally going to buy a
Rodeo, but after discussions with Grant and Keven, I opted for the
Homer. (This was a little over a year ago, and my first foray into the
Riv world. I drooled over crabon fiber up until then.) I am really
glad I took their advice, and that is what I'll do when I add my
second Riv to the stable. Anyway, you're right about the look and
attitude of the Hunqa. It looks like a great ride, and the great thing
about a Riv is that I don't think you can really go wrong.
