I was building a frame with Mike Flanagan at A.N.T. last week and had planned to use my new Bosco bars on it with vintage CLB inverse brake levers. But the CLB levers route the cable through the bars, and I didn't think my aluminum Boscos would be happy with being drilled for an exit hole, so back to the drawing board. However, the Tektro inverse levers route the cable externally, so the problem would be solved. Here's the bike with the Bosco bars installed: http://www.flickr.com/photos/37542512@N04/7440443248/in/photostream/ Here are the vintage levers -- they would've looked great, but back to the drawing board. http://www.flickr.com/photos/37542512@N04/7338019866/in/photostream

Has anyone tried Bosco Bars with reverse brake levers? If combined with thumbie, stem, or downtube shifters, seems like the ultimate in keeping bar space open for hand positions. If you've tried it, please post photos/comments. Any reasons not to try it? cheers, Andrew...who put Boscos on his wife's refurbed MTB and hasn't tried them on his own bike yet... -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
