Not sure where I came up with this, but it might be an option to lower everything down and allow the cable to slide by. I have this on my QB at the moment, but it seems like it would work for a bike with under-shell wires. (Which by the way, my QB has - was that common?) Anyone know of a source for this type of kickstand klamp? Another thing I've done is use a SS cap screw in place of the hex bolt - they are a bit more low-profile.
