I'll be at D2R2, for my fifth year. It's an incredibly beautiful route, and 
I highly recommend it.

Give the 100km a shot—forget that hype. D2R2 is challenging, but you can 
find a bailout route if it stops being fun. Bring a map, pencil, and paper 
if you're concerned. You'll find locals and D2R2 volunteers who can help 
you with directions. You'll meet lots of great riders out there, too, of 
all abilities.

Any of those tires are up to the task. With pressures on the low side, all 
should work well. I find traction and comfort are of great importance on 
the hills.
