Maybe what I should have said so that Michael understood the message is
that it is bad to try to mount a wheel by forcing one's body weight on the
wheel/hub. If I didn't read such a harebrained idea, then I would have
never responded to the post.

I sense an unfriendly combination of naivete and arrogance, but I'm sure it
is just a bad first impression (or a fault of mine--of which I have plenty).

I honestly hope that the properly spec'd new frame works perfectly and has
a great ride!
