i ripped the pockets off of my longflap camper and have been rolling it up and placing it on the top of my rack, between two panniers full of camping gear. when i get into town i unroll it, stuff it with food, ice and beer. the bag is "waterproof", at least enough to act as a cooler for the rest of the night and keep the beer cool when it's packed with ice. i think it's great.
