Do talk your shop Chris, but you won't have too many problems if any.  You 
may not be able to use as wide as tires as a Sam, but for the most part 
you'll be fine :) 
here's a photo I found online of the frame for everyone .   This one has DC 
980- canti's and Sugino AT triple so you'll have no issues with "modern"
