Not sure if the rack screw comment means that all is well again, but if it was working before you bent it, I'm assuming that wasn't the root problem.
If you bent the derailleur and a new one didn't improve your shifting I wonder if you also bent the hanger. Did they use an alignment tool to ensure that it was straight?
