The Wasco County Country Bike Ramble is happening on Saturday, April 6th.
The mapped route <http://ridewithgps.com/routes/2251278> is a 60-mile loop out of Maupin, OR with 4100ft of climbing. There'll be some agricultural land, a stretch along the Deschutes River, and many miles on quiet roads through open forest. Many of these miles are new to us (Leaf Slayer Mike helped me with the route), so be prepared to stop for frequent map consultations and to take it all in. This route is largely off the beaten path… come prepared accordingly (food, spare tube, layers, etc). The plan is to stay together as a group. It would be great to meet other list members from the Northwest, but you're on your own for overnight accommodations. Riding a Rivendell is encouraged but all manner of country bikes are welcome. --Smitty -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
