I picked up my Rich-built, Atlas-rimmed wheels for the Hunqapillar with Big Ben 55's when I was in SF in late March. Then I got sick for 10 days and haven't set them up on the bike yet. I'll let you guys know how I like them this spring and summer.

A longish while back Grant mentioned a rim project so this may be the end product.  So far, my Mavic A719s have held up well, despite my poor off-road skills and trying (in vain) to keep up with Mike on the downhills.  The Velocity would be a candidate to replace the Mavics, esp given their MUSA chops.

Checked the Velocity website and it is now listed in 26", 650B and 700C.   http://velocity-dev.com/index.php/product/rims/atlas-584

Wide at 25.4 and beefy at 590 gms for the 650B size.   

should be a great rim for big knobbies and heavy duty touring.
