All this commerce in Rambouillets! I'd be interested to learn particular reasons why people are selling and why they are buying -- ie, why you want to get rid of, or acquire, a Ram rather than something else.
I am beginning to think that the Ram, like the Atlantis and the Quickbeam, is a definitive Rivendell, ie, it fills a particular niche (pavement, but capable of modestly wide tires and fenders and of some light, firm dirt) in a particularly Rivendellian way and therefore has a unique identity. Perhaps the Roadeo fits this niche, too but is it as versatile while being better on pavement? I wonder if the Sam is not more of a compromise -- not hugely more off road capable, not as good on pavement. I wonder if the Saluki is a 650b Ram? Just thinking out loud.
