I'm preparing to build up the Sam H. I bought used here now that my tires,
cables n' stuff are in from Riv.

Some time after the frame was delivered I noticed I could slide the rear
hub in because the drive side is "pinched" shut just a tiny amount. You
can't
tell by looking at it. Could've happened in shipping, I don't think the
seller knew, and it really doesn't matter. I just want it fixed.

In harnessing the power of allmighty google, it looks like most folks
suggest just gently leveraging the dropout back open.

Any experience or advice with this? I'm not afraid to try, primarily just
wondering if I should apply heat or if there's a better method. I wanna be
careful not to open the dropout too much.

Thanks in advance. Hopefully I'll post pics of my first Riv beautifying the
Katy trail soon.
