I loved Oregon - the central Cascades area where my friend and I spent a week this past August (that's only my second visit to ORegon, I have also been to Ashland). I can definitely understand how you miss it.
But - it is really cool to be within minutes of some of the most iconic places in the U.S.
I think I like the pictures from Oregon better :)
