Half baked, or well done? I got a pair <http://www.rivbike.com/product-p/ag4.htm>in my last order, and they are working great for this fall transition weather. During the day, I can go bare handed, but sometimes in the late afternoons or evenings it gets chilly for bare hands. These half mitts are light, pack easily anywhere and warm up your hands when it gets too chilly. I am commuting in them now and we will see how cold it can be for them to stay functional. When they are not doing the job, I might try a pair of light gloves under them instead of just switching to heavier gloves. Layering, all about the layering.
I am so glad they added the thumbs. I wish they would put a reflective strip on the back for signalling, etc... as cold weather often goes together with dark.
