I will never, ever, use a canister stove. They are loathsome detestable abominations. My backpacking and car camping has been almost exclusively with old and new Optimus kerosene stoves, but I placed an order for the solostove after seeing the link here. It looks like it can fill a niche for bike camping without liquid/gas fuel, and the small alcohol burner option fits in nicely.
