I am glad the ride was salvaged, Ron! I'm intrigued by Stans and trying to assess if it makes any sense for me to go tubeless at some point. (The attraction is self sealing, rather than ultra low pressures, because ultra low pressure 2.25" tires do a number on my vertigo). Could you please help me understand in this situation how Stans were more convenient than a spare tube?
