The thing is recently I wonder about the danger difference, since while plastic fenders with QRs might not have the wheel jam at the fender stay, if something gets in there big enough to lock the wheel wouldn't it just roll up to the fork blades and jam you there? Like a stick or something big that would stick out of the wheel.
