Rick,

I was specifically adressing Jill's comment about supporting Tracey.
If Tracey is not willing to forgive Kevin, then is Jesus calling on us to
support her in her disobedience??

Jill,
I agree with Rick A. Sit tight sister! You're reply to Foster was right
on! "Foster says it's more important that I support what Jesus says. As
if I don't."
That's exactly how he came across, and he was way out of line. I applaud
you're courage to speak up and express how you felt. That is so much a
part of what HC is about. No, neither this list, nor HC in general will
pick apart everything you say. But there will be some individuals in both
those settings who might. I'd encourage you to respond just as you did in
this situation. Remember how much God loves you -- you are __accepted__
in the beloved! (Eph.1); and remember how much your husband loves you!
Thirty-one years! That's wonderful. You must be a very precious lady to
have a man who cherishes you like that. So, when someone comes along who
appears to be putting you down, rather than remembering Mom & those pastors
& elders who didn't know diddly, remember your Father & your husband -- the
ones who know you best, love you most!

When you speak up as you did and share honestly how you feel, it opens the
possibility of dialogue that _will_ prove healing if all involved are
_truly_ seeking Him first as you are. It makes possible the kind of
lasting, supporting relationships that we hope to experience in HC.
