Hello,
Dirk pushed Rcpp 0.8.5 to CRAN yesterday, and it should hit your
platform/mirror soon.
This fixes a few warnings we had with R-devel, brings a few speed
improvements and removes the $shell call from Rcpp's Makevars(.win).

To take advantage of the speed improvements, client packages need to be
recompiled. The easiest way to achieve that is to upload a new version
that specifically depends on Rcpp 0.8.5
