As chance would have it I can tell you about these; there was a
feature on BRDM-2s in the latest Military Machines International.

The BRDM2 is a Soviet 4-man amphibious scout car, used by the Iraquis
in the 1st Gulf War. Armament was 2 MGs or missiles. The belly wheels
could be raised or lowered and were chain driven, to help getting over
obstacles obviously. A challenge at 1/6th scale...
