So, 9 months later she runs in the backyard and passed the tests.  Built from 
leftovers from my other projects, 18 V drills from the Daimler, drive wheels, 
extant batteries and my first 40 Amp ESC, an AM RC system... Alumninium plates 
cut with a jigsaw, and timing belts for tracks.  These are for soft terrains 
only, lawn and perhaps a sandy beach. Good thing is she does not throw a track.

The smallest tank in the hobby using all systems that are employed in larger 
tanks. 18 Volt motors and a huge torque on drive wheels with a diam of only 65 
mms. for a weight of about 10 kgrs only.
I will later send you pics of how to, especially for the rubber belt tracks. 
Ideal for half tracks. Short and quick to fix. I simply did not have the enrgy 
to assemble the hinges this time...
