Nice work, but I think you mean 900VA, not KVA!

Subject: [TANKS] A Practicle Use for this Hobby

So what does an R/C Tank Combateer do when the most over-hyped storm of the
century manages to knock out power and the Sunday evening HBO programming is
about to start? They grab an 900KVA UPS, an old extension cord, some crimp
spade connectors, and a set of tank drive batteries and build an at home power
generation plant! The tiny 7AH batteries were pulled from the UPS and the set
of the Cromwell's 22AH batteries were patched in with the modified extension
cord. The UPS required disassembly and removal of the peizo beeper with a pair
of pliers so as not to disturb the HBO viewing with those "On Battery" audio
warnings every thirty seconds. This setup ran the 19" LCD TV, cable HD box,
cable modem, wireless access point, land-line phone system, and the wife's cell
charger, providing a gamut of video, audio, and internet communications for the
evening.

Please note that powering of the 52" plasma display was not even considered on
this setup.
