Why re-invent the wheel? The Brits just got done fully restoring a Tiger a few years ago so I'm sure that's why they sent it to them. That Tiger was shipped to the US from Britain in WW2 if I recall correctly to do ballistics testing. Aberdeen did a shell restoration of the Elephant (just did the outside) so I'm sure they moved it indoors to preserve the new paint. Derek that's just it, i spoke with the museum curator over at Bovington and they don't have the Aberdeen Tiger, they said they never had 2 Tigers their, just their own one Tiger. and what do you mean re-invent the wheel?
