Yes, thanks for letting us get a taste of the Abomination's awesome abilities!!
Had a fun time, had fun sharing the Bofors duties with Stu. I think we did a
fair amount of terrorizing those poor kids manning the Navarrone!! I know I
killed the "command post" (outhouse) and its inhabitant at least once!! Thank
you Doug, for making that all happen. My only regret was not taking any video
of the day's events, I think my head was swimming in all the festivities. I'll
definitely take some footage next time.
AND I'm all amped up for the October battle, thanks for that heads up!!
Stu and I both found the APG to be a "temple"!! He immediately went to work on
the two Shermans sitting at the edge of the small parking lot. He was quiet
busy with sketches and measurement when I arrived.
We then made the rounds, I stopped at the Jagdpanther for some nagging
measurements-mostly the wheels-sprocket. Then it was off to the JS-III for a
more in-depth round of measurement. Now it's "simply" a matter of drawing up a
set of plans, then git 'er started and git 'er dun!! Definitely psyched!!
