In theory at least, I think so. Those sensors are just force sensitive
resistors. They'd be kind of expensive if the vehicle was large. You'd also
need some electronics to handle reading the sensors. They're a little
fragile, too.

A question for Doug: Would the technique for the airsoft hit sensors for
Mech Warfare be applicable to airsoft tanks? I saw somewhere, rcgroups I
think, where a Russian guy had put impact sensors on an airsoft tank. I
forget what type of sensor it was, but as I recall it was something that is
pretty commonly available on robotics vendor sites.
