sounds like maybe Futaba should get back into speed controllers again. i  
have an older one in my US Destroyer that had an interesting (and useful)  
feature. it was a 3 unit controller ( i forget how exactly it was plugged  
together, but) where when the throttle was pushed to full, it would switch the  
battery power from running through the controller via relays to run  
directly from the batteries - now that was smart thinking.
