Do you have pictures of your set-up or some of the drives you tested?? What motor are you using?
I will say that I got chain drive work very fine I even got 3 separate drive stage in my RSO troctor with a redneck bolt holding through the wooden frame and it's still hold well with me sitting on top of it so...!
