I've been following the development of the ISTC (International Standard Text Code -- see http://www.istcinfo.net/index.htm ) and wanted to ask/confirm a couple of things -- but as a non-cataloger, my first question is, does a MARC field exist for this? Is it field 024 (I have been searching some lists)?
(I have a slew of other questions/thoughts about ISTC, not necessarily for this list, but that was my first question. If you know anything about ISTC you might well wonder if this holds out any promise for FRBR.) Karen G.
