Thanks for bringing this to my attention Diane.

 

Option 1 is the correct intention of my statement. When replying to a
discussion thread that started on the RDA-L@LISTSERV.LAC-BAC.GC.CA
address, users will need to manually direct their reply to the new
address (rd...@ala.org). 

 

And of course this would apply beginning on December 27th.

There are at least two ways to parse this one. Is it:

1. Replies to threads that originated from the old address 'should be
redirected' [manually by the reply-er] to the new address [meaning that
we have to pay attention to avoid having messages rejected]

2. Replies to threads that originated from the old address 'should be
redirected' [automatically by the system] to the new address [meaning we
can stop worrying and just let those replies fly]
