I don't know of one other than by resetting the date of the backup
server, but it sounds like a huge amount of work for little if any
benefit. Can you not just archive the Amanda backups to CD or DVD and
keep them in case they are needed?
There's several hundred GB :-( That's a lot of DVDs, and an AWFUL lot
of CDs :-)
