I'm evaluating rdiff as a potential backup solution for terabytes of files. Obviously during a restore operation, with that much data you only want to restore what you need. Does rdiff provide a means of restoring a sub-set of files from a backup?
You can mount the backup with rdiff-backup-fs, and then just copy the files you want around.
