The .tar.gz file is a source release, so the lack of .pyd files is to be expected. :-) I had forgotten to put up the windows binary of the beta for Q4 2009. I'm doing that now, but be forewarned it has the same path problem (i.e. missing the RDKit_Q42009_1 base dir) as the old binaries.
