Dear theoz,
thanks for reminding about release 2020.09.1.0, less than a day
old.[1] Assuming you refer currently using release 2019.03.6 I
added to conda by the instruction of
conda install -c conda-forge rdkit
I would wait a little for an update because a) the relevant repository
for conda-forge source about rdkit [2] was not yet updated, and b)
issuing the alternative command
conda install -c rdkit rdkit
as outlined in the Anaconda Cloud[3] triggers an installation that
stops because of a current discrepancy between the version of the
Python interpreter (3.8.6) and the requirements set for rdkit. To
quote a portion:
---- ----8>< ----
UnsatisfiableError: The following specifications were found
to be incompatible with the existing python installation in your
environment:
Specifications:

Your python: python=3.8
