Hi Chris,

I happen to have seen one of their trailers. they were trying to sell them in my area. While I think they have their place, it was way more expensive than a standard installed system.

I though the metal work was well made, the electrical work on the other hand was lacking.

Lots of parallel strings of group 27 12v sealed batteries, no venting for the inverter/CC housing. The strangest part was that the panels hinge as in the web site, but the electrical connections were across the the hinge. ie you had to connect and disconnect each time you open or close the system, or rip out the wiring if you forget.

Outback sealed inverters + CC on the one I saw.

My 2 cents,

jay

Dear People:

Have any of you heard of these mobile power systems from a company called Pure Power Distribution? www.purepowerd.com --it's a bunch of modules,
inverter and batteries racked on a trailer, to sum it up.

I got an e-mail from a fellow who's claimed to have "personally sold lots of these systems in ID, OR and CA". I got this e-mail about two weeks ago (it contained some attachments which I can send you if you contact me off list); I responded with several questions which have gone unanswered to date. I'm
just wondering if any of you folks have heard of this outfit.
