Marco --

I train fire departments around the country in PV safety, and I also train PV installers in how to train their local fire departments.

As a firefighter myself, the signage I like to see (and should meet NEC code, and is widely available) is:

DC Disconnect
Warning: Electric Shock Hazard
DO NOT TOUCH TERMINALS
Terminals on both Line and Load sides may be energized in open position
DC VOLTAGE IS ALWAYS PRESENT WHEN SOLAR MODULES ARE EXPOSED TO SUNLIGHT

I do NOT like to see the word "photovoltaic" in signage-- unless firefighters have been trained, they often don't know what the word means. Photo-WHAT?

For a high voltage DC junction box?

As in “touch these wires and die” or something similar?

Thanks,
