Dick I did email SMA Monday & a reply followed your Wrench reply to my inbox this afternoon. As I suspected, they are not [yet] available in the states. It looks as though one Sunny Backup will replace 2 Sunny Islands. Technologically it's par for the course coming from SMA. Maybe they are waiting to move their US supply of SIs.
