David, This is for grid-tied carport structures which may be installed in several locations on the East Coast where the minimum temperature varies from 5 degrees F to -20 degrees F and I would like to maintain one standard system for each situation. Three strings of 12 modules fit the carport exactly and work well to 5 degrees but then the cold puts the voltage over 600. I could do 4 strings of 9 but then the high temperatures in summer cause the inverters to drop out due to low voltage.
I could do three strings of 11 and have 3 dummy panels but would like to avoid this kluge. Thanks!
