Hi Jay, I doubt anyone could say 'all' would work, but I have successfully used one from I/O Gear on the TriStar. A couple of weeks ago I taught a SITN class and we came up with three others out of a box that once we found the right Windows drivers online, worked fine with the SunSaver MPPT controllers. I suspect the same protocol is in use in both controllers.
Good Luck! -Glenn Burt -----Original Message----- From: re-wrenches-boun...@lists.re-wrenches.org [mailto:re-wrenches-boun...@lists.re-wrenches.org] On Behalf Of jay peltz Sent: Monday, August 05, 2013 7:18 PM To: RE-wrenches Subject: [RE-wrenches] RS 232/tristar Hi All, Any special issues with using a RS232 to USB for programing the Tristar?
