This product is probably much like Rain-X. While you could put it on PV modules, it would require reapplication on a fairly regular basis to keep it working. As you pointed out, I don’t think many, if any, module manufacturers that would specifically warranty their product with Rain-X on it—I don’t see this as any different. Not as worried about it turning opaque. More worried that it will look bad as it wears out without a reapplication. Bill.
