i have the same thing in my greenhouse... on a 24 volt dc system, i wired in a switch to change my two fans from parallel (noisy and excessive air movement) to series. i run them in series 99% of the time... plenty of air, less noise and long life on the brushes. (of course this is only an option with 2 fans) todd On Wednesday, August 20, 2014 2:43pm, "Kirpal Khalsa" <solarwo...@gmail.com> said:
Hey Folks....we have a customer with a 24VDC fan for venting a green house and we would like to be able to control speed on it instead of just on/off...The fan draws 22 Amps at 24VDC....Any suggestions on how to regulate speed? The idea is to have the fan pull less than the 22 amps............ rheostat? potentiometer.... I think essentially what i am looking for is a dimmer switch for a 24VDC motor..... Thank you!!
