Adam:
We used the Corrubracket, I thought they were sub-standard in many ways. I dislike that the penetration is in the low point of the profile. Also, the threaded hubs stripped easily. The overall feel was that it was flimsy. We subsequently tried the SnapNRack Corrugated Roof Block and found it to be quite adequate. It is displayed on the web page with the 500 series product line. The SNR product works on industrial corrugated metal (narrow ridges and wide valleys) and historic barn corrugations (sine wave profile) alike. They are priced at less than $5.00 each (not including fastener). Coincidentally, I am placing an order for a quantity of them today. We are waiting for a sample of a product made by EJOT. This is a bolt that penetrates through the high point of the corrugation (always a better option) and includes a rain guard of some sort. The rain guard is pictured on industrial roofing and I am not sure it will work on barn corrugation profile. The product has threads for wood or metal. I always like to touch hardware to get a better feel for the quality and usability. I will report when I get my hands on a sample. I'm looking at the S-5! CorruBracket <http://www.s-5.com/clamps/index_2624.cfm> . Its for a very small system on a hunting cabin. The pitch is probably about 20 degrees and and I'm concerned about leaks over time. Any recommendations are appreciated.
