Hello Mr. Dahl I believe a Firmware update will be required. Down load the latest Firmware from the OutBack Website onto an otherwise empty SD card. Insert the SD card in the Mate3 then power it up.
If you press and hold the UP button it will force an update. After the update is complete it might be a good idea to clear the Internal Data Logs. Press Lock Enter the password 141 select Settings then System Scroll down to Clear Internal Data Log Then choose yes. This should get you up and running. If it does not help email me directly for further assistance.
