G'Day All,

I'm in search of advice on the different brand/models of cellular
modems ya'll have been having good luck with these days when it comes to
monitoring something basic like an OutBack Mate3s via Optics RE.

What I've found thus far is from a company called MoFi Networks. They offer
a unit 4G, for around $320 that requires the end user/client to purchase a
sim card w/ hotspot enabled from their local cell carrier whether it be
AT&T, Verison or T-mobile. The one note on purchasing from a carrier is
that they can throttle you down if you use too much data, which I can't
imagine the Outback or any other monitoring apparatus would hit. Now if the
client decided to stream movies that's a different story and falls on their
shoulders. I was told that you can purchase a sim card from a third party
that for reasons I don't begin to understand can't be throttled down by the
national carriers.

Anyway I'd love to hear back from my peers on brands that you've
tried, trued and tested.

Happy Easter and Passover to All,
Christopher-
