I'm looking at an off-grid quad inverter setup for a client, not my
installation. One of the stacked.inverters is extremely hot, sometimes it
goes into F66 and takes down the adjacent inverters with it to F66 probably
because of these Xanbus network is broken.

I disabled charging and discharging on the inverter that is getting hot,
but it's still remains very hot. Any ideas?

I tried to put that one inverter in standby, but the generator will not
sync with the remaining three and charge the batteries. So I have to leave
it in normal operating mode for the moment.
