I once was at an installation by others doing a T/S with a single OB Radian & 2 - FM 100s that worked & then did not work. In removing the front door the FM 100 s Woke up briefly & then off as I was tracing wires it happened again. I tapped/ knocked on the GS box & the FMs briefly woke up agin & turned off. At the same time I heard a slight “dizzith” crackle or a short arc sound. The sound was so quiet if anything had been running ie: fans etc I wouldn’t have heard it. Started to do a wire tug test carefully & discovered that both of the negative wire terminals had not been tightened down for the battery negative conductors at the shunt terminals. Good case for having taped the shaft on your long screw driver to get to the back of the GS box with the AC - DC breaker bar held to the left while Working hot.
