Hi all, This is a repeated (rephrased) version of a previous question, but I've hit upon a new application. I'm looking to retrofit a system from existing SMA Sunny Boy inverters to work with an ESS System. My PV Array (~900' from the inverters) is 600V Voc, and the strings are combined at the Array, so Imp is 24A, Isc is 32A. Also, important to note is that 1 of my SB7000 inverters is non functional.
So, my options are: (A) A 500V "Crowbar" or SRC type circuit to limit my Voc, and allow me to take the array directly to a single MPPT port on a Sol-ark Inverter Or, use AC-Coupling to the Sol-Ark, then I can... (B) A new PV Inverter that can handle 600V, 32A (Isc) on a single MPPT Port (C) A replacement SB7000 (D) Re-pull my strings of wires to something like a Solis PV Inverter Does anyone know of either: (A) a Voc limiter? (B) A PV Inverter with a single MPPT input that can handle 600V, 24A (Imp), 32A (Isc) or (C) A source for a replacement SB7000US -- Travis Knipple Senior Engineer Hudson Solar Solutions LLC Rhinebeck, NY 12572 518-539-8040 x408 | [email protected] PVIP# PV-111821-013612
